Mountain Barge Services
Mountain Barge Services has been in business on Lake Chelan since 1976. MBS is a full service marine services business with services ranging from freight transportation, dock construction, buoy placement, and propane delivery.
MBS runs regular barge trips between Stehekin and Chelan hauling general freight for the community of Stehekin, Lucerne and Holden Village. This requires the business to be able to effectively receive freight from suppliers and private persons, document inventory, safely, store, haul, and deliver freight and keep accurate records for billing each month.
